I went for the first time today and the food was delicious! I ordered pupusas, fried plantains, cream puffs and a passion fruit juice. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere made you feel at home. 10/10 would recommend View all feedback.
What vivian wade doesn't like about El Salvador Cafe:
It took about 45 minutes for our food to come, which was pushing it, considering the restaurant was empty with just my friend and I at one point. We asked the employee around 30 minutes in when our food would be ready. We only ordered 4 pupusas and 2 horchatas. The food was alright. I don't understand what went wrong. People who ordered nearly 20 minutes after us, received their orders after 5 minutes. I'm just going... View all feedback.

Great authentic food. Felipe the owner and the Family are quality people and pillars of the community.
The neighborhood is a little sketchy but don’t let that deter you. It’s a small lil joint. I had one pupusa revuelta and chicharrón con yuca. It was delicious. We will definitely be going back.
Stoped by after driving by for months. What a pleasant surprise. I ordered popusas cheese and chicharron with fried yuca.,while I waited I overheard the tamales were fresh out.. I ordered one of them while I waited for my freshly made pupusas, the tamal was absolutely delicious. The service was the best and my waiter Felipe was so amazing he made sure all my curtido was spot on. Cause I'm a curtido girrrll. So come and experience ,what I had the pleasure to taste.
Embarrassing to say that I've lived here my entire life and have never tried this spot. Well we ended that day streak and Holy smokes....hands down the best Papusa I've ever tried. The chicken tamal was delicious too! You know when you here that sound of them being made in the back, it's gonna be good. Will be back before I know it.
