It is a typical Carl's Jr. establishment. I have been at this joint many times, while visiting my family in High Desert. The meals, that I would order, were quite delicious. At the same time, they were not on the expensive side. The wait lines, usually, were not long. Furthermore, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. At the same time, the place was quite clean. Definitely, I will visit this place a... View all feedback.
What Stephanie Chatwood doesn't like about Carl's Jr.:
I end up having to come here every once in a while due to a lack of options. The burgers are watery, they refuse to give you ranch, you have to order nuggest and even then they will tell you no half the time. The food isn 't actually hot when you get itunless you ask for fresh fries and then they will not out any salt on them. I asked if they did military discount once becausethey had support out vets stars on the wi... View all feedback.
The service and food are quite good, but the delivery pickups are a bit slow. You end up waiting longer than expected.
I waited for 20 minutes without anyone taking my order, so I eventually left. It wasn't just a matter of being busy; it felt like no one was paying attention. I couldn't help but feel that there was some discrimination involved, as other customers seemed to be served while I was overlooked, possibly due to being Asian.
I decided to give them another chance, but once again, they got my order wrong. It seems they have trouble distinguishing between the different chicken sandwiches on their combo menu. I ordered the bacon Swiss combo, but they gave me the regular one and charged me the extra cost. When I called to resolve the issue, they told me I would need to bring it back in, which wasn't possible since the front wasn't open! On the bright side, the quality of the food was good, but the service was just terrible.
I find myself coming to this restaurant occasionally due to a lack of better options nearby. Unfortunately, the burgers tend to be soggy, and they refuse to serve ranch sauce. You have to specifically order nuggets, and even then, they often say no. When you receive your food, it's rarely hot unless you specifically request fresh fries, and even then, they won't add any salt. I once inquired about a military discount because they had "Support Our Vets" signs in the window. The cashier initially confirmed they offer discounts, but only on certain items. When I pointed out that I hadn’t ordered a combo, she quickly backtracked, saying the discount isn’t available after 8. When I asked for clarification, she couldn’t even specify whether that meant 8 AM or 8 PM. Honestly, I really dislike visiting this location.
The service was quite slow, and the food was average at best and overpriced. I’m willing to pay for quality, but I left feeling disappointed. Additionally, they didn’t offer any ranch, which was a letdown. On a brighter note, the staff was friendly.
