Seven Mountains Wine Cellars

They have an excellent wine selection and a fantastic atmosphere for both indoor and outdoor events.

Our visit here has been on our radar for a while, and we finally made a day trip from Altoona—a straightforward and pleasant drive of about an hour. Approaching off Route 322 was intriguing, as we passed through densely wooded areas. Upon arrival, we discovered this charming and pristine establishment in a lovely setting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We explored and reviewed the retail offerings, the event room, the outdoor terrace, and the fire pit area—all of which were stunning. Before leaving, we selected some of our favorite wines. We definitely plan to return!

I tried the Petite Sarah wine, and it was so delightful that I ended up buying a bottle. My evening was filled with great wine, a cozy campfire, delicious wood-fired pizza from a local vendor, and fantastic music from Hops and Vines. I truly appreciate supporting local businesses over larger corporations, and I know I’ll be returning to this wonderful winery during my travels!

Seven mountain weingut often has events for special occasions, such as this, Mother's Day! wine,- beer and mimosa flights, live music, artists who give away free patterns of their wars and sell others. a really nice mood that happens here and all the time I've ever gone. a few food trucks sell big food and lots of places to sit and enjoy. every time I was here, I had a really nice time.
