Pretty disappointed, had family from out of town. We went way out of our way to take them there. Apparently they will not seat you if you do not have reservations. View all feedback.

WRONG ADDRESS DO NOT DRIVE TO THIS LOCCATION, CORRECT ADDRESS IS THE ONE IN CRYSTAL RIVER!!!!
Years and years ago late 70 's early 80s, Peck 's used to be The Green Door . Back then, Mel and Ginny Kreider owned the restaurant. Tina Thomas, Ginny 's daughter, was the swing manager of the of the bar/lounge and Kevin Koerick was the Chef in the kitchen. From time to time, Ginny 's son, Danny Marrillia, would grill ribs outside of the back door of the restaurant which made the dinning area smell of BBQ ribs delicious. Linda Marrillia, Ruth Ann O 'Neil, Cecilia Watt, Pat and several others were waitresses there. Tina worked in the lounge Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other Sunday from open to close. Ginny would work on Friday and Saturday night in the lounge to accommodate the busy restaurant on the weekend. Eventually Linda, then Cecilia moved up to working in the lounge. Weekly specials included 2 for $7.50 dinners that came with cole slaw and french fries and your choice of fried shrimp or fried grouper. Other dinners included a Captains Platter and Prime Rib and of course the freshly BBQed ribs. The Green Door was famous for their shrimp or scallop scampi which was made with minced fresh garlic minced fresh celery in herb butter. The fish with scampi sauce on top was then broiled (not baked) and it would form a fantastic garlic herb crust on top. MMMmmmm good! Fresh soup included your choice of new England Clam Chowder or soup of the day. A local artist would feature her art which could be found throughout the restaurant hung on the walls and let 's not forget the music entertainment on the weekend. Those were the days, good food, great patrons and a wonderful family owned business.
CLOSED I may be wrong but after peck 's old port cove closed it was The cross eyed grouper and now it 's closed and an empty building as of 7/28/2013. I don 't know if it is the same owner but there is a Peck 's old port cove in ozello/Crystal river .
