The dine in area was clean, and the servers were going above and beyond. All in all a great experience.

The crab cakes were fantastic—much better than I expected, especially since they were served in the shell. The hushpuppies were among the best I've ever had, though I've only tried them a few times. They had a rich flavor that went beyond just batter or cornmeal. On that day, the fountain water was trickling slowly, so we found it easier to ask the staff to fill a cup for us from behind the counter, where the service was excellent. Both the bathroom and dining area were spotless. My husband particularly enjoyed the green beans, which were cooked with ham. They did mix up our sides or our main platter, but it wasn't a big deal. However, I found the fries and the fried fish to be rather unimpressive. Overall, it was the hushpuppies and crab cakes that truly stood out for me.
