This Persian restaurant is located in the same street as where my father lives. Its actually located ground floor in a block of apartments right at the end of Barrett St.We shared a grilled meat platter which contained lamb and chicken, a nice salad, and safron rice. This main was enough for the two of us to share. This was complimented with some fries.This restaurant does not sell alcohol. View all feedback.

Beautiful Persian food that can compete with the best in Tehran, London or Los Angeles. Kebabs were wonderful above all the delicate lamb fillets and coobides; Lammschaft Baghali Polo was delicious (although missing Fava beans in rice) and appetizers were excellent especially the smoked Aubergine.... All in all a delicious meal! The service was friendly, but not so attentive. Very recommended!
This week, as it was near our hotel and the weather was bad. The staff was really attentive without being intrusive. The star of the show was the food. Very delicate meat and very tasty. Portion size was large....Würde definitely visit again as the prices for quality are excellent
This was our first time when we try Persian food and OMG what a joy! The waitress was very helpful and recommended the Farah mixing plate for 2, which had 2 dips, bread and salad, to then begin 2 types of lamb and 2 types of chickens...plus saffron rice. All were so moist and tasty and a good portion for $69. We ordered Persian ice cream and Baklava for dessert, but unfortunately they had sold out so that we have to wait for our next trip to Brisbane to try!
We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Friendly efficient service, reasonably priced drinks too. Food was tasty, good size serves reasonably priced. Next time we are in Brisbane, we hope to return again to try other items on their menu.
We had a exceptional experience at Farah, authentic Persian food and warm hospitality. We will definitely cisit again very soon aiming to try a different dish each time.
