Arthur's
Description
Arthur's Restaurant offers a varied dining experience that ranges from delightful to disappointing. While some guests rave about the perfectly cooked steaks and exceptional prime rib, others caution against certain menu items, like the Friday fish fry. Service is generally praised, with standout staff members enhancing the experience. Families appreciate the friendly atmosphere and efficient service, though the long wait times can be a downside. Overall, Arthur's presents itself as a classic supper club with a medieval theme, appealing to those seeking a memorable meal, but diners may want to approach with caution on busy nights.

The food was quite disappointing and didn't justify the cost. However, the service was excellent, although it was a bit slow.
We truly appreciate your drive-up service, available from Wednesday to Sunday afternoons. The food is reasonably priced and consistently delicious! I especially love their cole slaw, which is made with just the right amount of mayo, exactly how I like it.
Went for Saturday night Prime Rib Buffet. Prime rib was very good. Coconut shrimp is just right. Not overly sweet.I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the interior is really dated and could use a upgrade. Also, it was quite noisy but facility was busy due to activity in event space.Old fashioned drinks were good.We will go back.
We made a 6:30 PM reservation and arrived about 10 minutes early. There was another couple ahead of us, so we didn’t expect to wait long. While we were waiting, we noticed a distracted hostess who collided with a waitress, causing a drink to spill and glass to shatter on the carpet. She nearly did it again, which highlighted her lack of awareness. We could see that the other couple wasn't happy and had seemingly been waiting for a while. To our surprise, a pair was seated before us without a reservation. Then, we were seated before the waiting couple, despite the hostess not even realizing we were within 20 feet of her. I really hope that couple found a better place to eat. Our waitress, Danielle, was delightful and took our order promptly. She was friendly and worked as quickly as the kitchen would allow. We each ordered a cocktail, an appetizer, the salad bar, and entrees. The drinks arrived quickly, but unfortunately, my husband’s Wisconsin old fashioned tasted like hand sanitizer. Luckily, Danielle was fantastic; she comped the drink and replaced it with a better one, and things seemed to be on track. The fried pickles we ordered were a highlight—crispy and not soggy, with a light and flaky batter; they were perfect. However, the salad bar was disappointing. The soups—one was a chicken and gnocchi that didn’t even resemble a soup and the other was a seafood chowder—were bland and unremarkable. On the upside, the dinner rolls were hot and served with delicious butter, a real treat especially since we waited over an hour and a half for our main courses. The prime ribs were mediocre. Mine could have used more seasoning, and my baked potato was cold on top but lukewarm in the middle. My husband’s prime rib was overly salty; no amount of water helped. Ironically, it seemed like my seasoning ended up on his dish. They paired our meals with frozen Oreida crinkle-cut fries. For a $100 meal plus tip, we expected much more. I paid the bill, feeling disappointed by the outdated atmosphere, uninspiring food, and the distracted hostess. However, Danielle truly saved the experience; she deserves not just a tip, but the entire amount of the bill. I don’t think we’ll return if we’re ever in town again, especially since there was still glass on the carpet near the door.
