Was there at 5:01am to pick up before work. sat there till 5:08 and still didn't have doors unlocked or open sign on. Change your hours to be more correct if you aren't going to open at posted time. Shipleys up the street was open and went there instead.
The cinnamon twist was warm and just melted in my mouth, yum! The boudin and cheese thing was amazing too!
This restaurant is managed by a single lady, at least that's the only person I've ever seen there. Occasionally, she has counter staff to assist her. I usually visit the area on Sunday mornings around 7:30, and I'm always impressed by the variety of offerings. She's also very pleasant to interact with.
You can’t go wrong! Killer service. Amazing variety of kolaches AND the best blueberry cake donut I have EVER had. So fluffy and delicious.
Two years ago, I noticed children playing in the back kitchen area, almost like it was a nursery. I decided to give it another try, and this time the donuts were quite good. However, I didn't see any kids running around and playing. Does Shipley's realize that situations like this can affect their business? I hope they do.
