The Runaway Plate - Spring

Suprisingly Fantastic Place! When we arrived, the concept of BBQ and Sushi had me nervous. My concern was transferred. The flavors were absolutely fantastic! My wife and I started ordering several things since we arrived in Happy Hour and some articles were reduced. Nothing disappointed and our server Amber was phenomenal. We had a great experience. We're just in town for a few more days, but we'll definitely be back!

A great place to fill, healthy meals quickly. Great menu with many choices, regardless of what you are in the mood. Customer service is impeccable, Andrew lets me feel at home. Most would definitely recommend eating at The Runaway Plate and make sure to inquire about Cast Iron Grill, the common restaurant with TRP! They're just as good if not better!

Great little business restaurant! Chicken fried steak was amazing and crispy, burgers are delicate and tasty, sweat tea is what it should be, banana pudding cheese cake was also good (share could have been bigger for the price). Good atmosphere and a great place to celebrate 10 years with my beautiful wife!

Delicious food! Great service. The sweet young employee heard me say that I couldn't see the menu clearly and included one in my bag for future reference. She was a doll for it. I live nearby, so this is a great place to come when I need a good meal and ran late when cooking.

I really want to give this place a five star rating but I can?t! If only the food was consistent! Not just the quality, but the flavors and the taste. I have a few favorites I order off the menu, but it seems like they are always different. My guess is it?s depending on who the cook is that evening. Sometimes the meals are fantastic and I?m very impressed. Then other times like tonight I find myself picking out hard pieces of dried over-cooked rice out of my food. Most of the time they get my order right, but since it?s a drive thru, I don?t always realize they have made a mistake until I?m home. One thing I can say is the staff is always pleasant and friendly. I just wish that the food was the same quality every time I went and tasted the same.
