The Refuge Steakhouse - Spring

We live in the woodlands and had never been. Honestly thought i would find an ok option for date night but was pleasantly surprised to find every one of the dishes were to die for! We ordered the shrimp fondue, tuna poke, one of the meat entrees and also ordered the crab cake but forgot to snap a picture. Everything 10/10. Adding this to my top 3 date night options in the Woodlands! Special shoutout to the restaurant for taking us in at almost 9pm on a Wednesday and delivering great service and great food. We had not been on a date in a while as toddler parents and it meant a lot to us. Another shoutout to Jack for being a great server!

We got food to go because we weren’t in a long drive but it was delicious and they treated us great! The service was amazing and sophisticated and the food was yummy!

Our service was amazing. Hailey is kind and very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended great cocktails. Great food from start to finish. Can't wait for our second visit

Steak was fantastic. I had a rib eye and my wife had a filet mignon. They both were very, very good...top quality. The sides were good, nothing specifically any better than somewhere else but they were good. The dessert was not that great. I had a toffee cake and the cake wasn't very good. The cake seemed way too thick and like it was not mixed properly. My wife had the creme brulee which she said was quite good. The atmosphere is very nice. The wait staff was very, very nice. Overall a good place to go. Maybe there are some some better choices for specific food, but it's still a very nice place with no regrets. I'd like to see it when they have the live music.
