I have been here several times in the last 3 years and the food is always so good that I never get a photo. I’ve never had a rude waiter/waitress. The hosts give accurate wait times and the time go is the same quality as when I dine in! View all feedback.
What Michael Ojeda doesn't like about Snooze, An A.m. Eatery:
In all honesty, it wasn?t for me. It wasn?t horrible but that being said it wasn?t all that either. I ended up getting bacon pancakes, which was a little better than I expected but the pancake batter was thick and the hash-browns had no flavor and was dry. The mimosa tasted watered down and the champagne that they use tasted burnt. However I will say the blood orange mimosa wasn?t that bad It?s not a bad place it had... View all feedback.
To be honest, it wasn't really my cup of tea. It wasn’t terrible, but it also didn’t stand out. I ordered the bacon pancakes, which turned out to be a little better than I anticipated, but the pancake batter was quite thick, and the hash browns lacked flavor and were dry. The mimosa tasted watered down, and the champagne they used had a burnt taste. On a positive note, the blood orange mimosa was passable. While it has a nice atmosphere, it's not a place I would return to. It might be decent for a quick stop if you're traveling, but that's about it.
What a fantastic spot for breakfast! This trendy restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is exceptional. It takes breakfast to the next level. I’ll definitely be returning, and you should make a point to visit as well!
We had a great experience with our server, Thorn. Snooze is still using its pandemic menus, which you can access via the QR code on the table. The restaurant is ADA accessible and features outdoor seating on a patio, with tables and booths inside. Drinks are served individually, and they do not offer carafes. The morning margaritas were delicious, but if you're looking for something stronger, I recommend ordering a different drink. The Irish coffee was warm and enjoyable for a morning pick-me-up. Don't underestimate the soyrizo; definitely consider it as a protein option for the Juan Breakfast Tacos. The hash browns added an interesting texture to the tacos, and next time, I'll request them to be fried extra crispy for a crunchier bite. Snooze is a solid choice because of its consistency and reliable service, although it can feel a bit generic and overpriced. You can't make reservations, and you can only add your name to the waitlist once they open, but the wait is usually not too long. They also don’t rush you out of the restaurant, which is a nice touch that allows you to enjoy your time with family.
What a gem! The food was outstanding!!! Went on a Sunday around noon and there was a 40 min. wait; so walked over to Craves and had some coffee and cake while I waited. But because it was only two in my party we were seated faster than the people who were already waiting when we got there. Yes, those folk were still waiting, outside after we got the text message to come be seated. Ordered the Spuds Deluxe with bacon, sausage and ham; the shrimp and grits with bacon added; Funky Monkey French toast and pancake. It was all DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend, would go again!
Great service, amazing variety, and great tasting food. I arrived with my friend on a saturday and the place was absolutely packed. We sat the bar and had a great time. Definitely must breakfast place to check out if you're in the The Woodlands area.
