The pumpkin pie latte was pricey, but it was flavorful. I left a tip expecting table service, but instead, my order was just called out and left on the counter for me to pick up.

My personal favorite... read more Rao's Bakery is the ideal spot for a little me-time or to catch up with a friend. If you need to get some work done, they offer free Wi-Fi. My personal favorites are the chocolate-covered strawberries and the M&M cookies. They also have a wonderful selection of pies, cakes, and cheesecakes that pair perfectly with their coffee and gelato options. Overall, Rao's Bakery and Coffee Cafe has everything you desire in a tranquil atmosphere.

I ordered a cake that was supposed to be ready by 11 a.m. On my way to pick it up, I received a call asking for the digital print, which I had previously sent and confirmed the Wednesday before. I was assured that the cake would be ready. However, when I arrived, it was not ready yet; they were just finishing printing the image for the cake. The staff was clearly overwhelmed, and there were frustrated customers ahead of me waiting for their orders. I was asked if I could wait an extra 25 minutes, but I explained that I really couldn’t, as my granddaughter’s birthday party was scheduled at a venue for a specific time. Instead, I ended up standing there, ignored by the acting shift manager, for a total of 30 minutes. Eventually, I asked if I could just take the cake and leave. I was told they were busy fixing mistakes on other cakes and were overwhelmed by graduation orders. If they couldn’t handle the volume, they shouldn’t accept so many orders. Finally, I insisted on getting the cake. When it was finally brought out, it lacked the border and trim we had discussed, and the image was poorly centered. They wanted to charge me $90 for it! They offered me a $30 discount, which I thought was ridiculous considering the cake was 35 minutes late and incomplete. I was told that a manager would call me, but I have yet to hear anything. I would never recommend this place again, which is disappointing given that I had used them in the past, including for our wedding cake. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
