I was there at the opening. I couldn't be impressed anymore! There was a line that was moved very fast. I washed in and the food was excellent. The offers were crispy and juicy, the frits were perfectly salted. The toast was also great. I'm still trying to figure out what the diving sauce did. The staff was friendly and kept the place immaculate when the crowd went through. The dining room seems a bit small, but ther... View all feedback.
What Lisa Lee doesn't like about Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers:
NO RANCH?????????? WHY can’t they realize they are in Texas. My toddlers can’t eat their Cane’s sauce (too hot) and I don’t like it either. We eat a lot of chicken tenders, but not here. Too bad, their tenders and fries are good. But we don’t go because they refuse to offer the #1 condiment in Texas Ranch!!! View all feedback.
My friends and family always talk about Canes and how much they love it. A few nights ago I decided to try it and visited the location off of Kuykendah. I received our order and I opened it to check it before driving off since it was my first time there and when I tell you the chicken strips look like they have been barely fried. They were so light in color that I was afraid to eat them I asked the gentleman if he was sure that they had been cooked and he said yes two of my four fingers barely had chicken crisp on them and you could see the chicken meat we got home and as I was very disgusted. .. the strips had no flavor and the coleslaw was also flavorless. I do a lot of Google reviews and almost never have a really bad experience but this food was not good and I do not plan on visiting this restaurant again.
The food is excellent, as always. However, the late-night greeter on the microphone lacks friendliness and seems disengaged, which is disappointing. I deducted one star for that. There are many other nearby options for chicken. Food: 5/5.
Decent food overall. The fries are just basically like frozen wedge fries. The tenders are above average, the sweet tea is great, I like the rabbit poo ice cubes, the garlic bread is sometimes great and sometimes a little soggy?, the canes sauce taste good, and the Cole slaw is fine. Service is consistently good. Not really a fan of the atmosphere but it's not a big deal anyway just my personal taste.

I have visited this location numerous times, primarily because my wife enjoys their sandwiches. Personally, I’ve never found Cane's to be particularly impressive. There are far better chicken options out there. While the chicken strips are acceptable, the fries are poorly made—soggy and lacking flavor. When I’ve raised some concerns with the management, they have been unresponsive and dismissive. Ultimately, there are many superior choices for chicken, and let’s be honest—if Cane's were to disappear, would anyone truly miss it?
