I like this chain and specifically the slice offering. I understand that slices of pizza are probably not what most customers stop in for in this area but if it's never going to be available why have it on the menu? Asking for a slice of pizza elicits a strange reaction from staff like we don't have any why are you asking for that? What Laura B doesn't like about Pepperoni's Birnham Woods:
Ordered a thin crust Margherita pizza, and it was delivered cold and burned. Called the store and the guy that answered said it's hard for them not to burn a thin crust pizza. Requested that Pepperoni's add that disclaimer on their ordering site so others can be warned. Very little sauce and cheese. Any selection in the frozen pizza isle of a grocery store would be better, and I wouldn't burn it. View all feedback.
I really enjoy this chain, particularly the slice option. I get that most customers in this area might not be stopping by specifically for pizza slices, but if they’re not going to offer them, why have them on the menu? When I ask for a slice, it seems to catch the staff off guard, as if they’re surprised that I’d even request it. Sure, they have other menu items that are probably decent, but that's not the reason I make the trip.
This location truly goes above and beyond to ensure your pizza meets your expectations! The customer service is excellent, and the manager is fantastic!
I ordered a thin crust Margherita pizza, and it arrived cold and burnt. When I called the restaurant, the person on the phone mentioned that it’s difficult for them not to burn thin crust pizzas. I suggested that Pepperoni's add a disclaimer to their ordering site to inform others about this issue. The pizza had very little sauce and cheese. Honestly, any frozen pizza from the grocery store would be a better option, and I wouldn’t have to worry about it being burnt.
How do you mess up pizza? I threw $40 in the trash. I'm not even mad. You guys are good for a laugh.
This location is often hit or miss with the pizza being far better at their downtown location. This time around, the pizza just didn’t meet my standards and when I called the store to ask if there was some mixup or reason the pizza wasn’t as I’d ordered, the manager said “I don’t know what to tell you” as she continued to defend why I was somehow perceiving it wrong despite my ordering here many times prior. She only apologized at the very end after not offering to make it better in any way. If she would have led with an apology, I would have felt okay. But instead, she made it seem like I was mistaken and didn’t care that their food, and the subsequent service, was subpar.
