Was DJ Arsenault at Komeya a mag?
Our go-to spot for sushi and ramen in The Woodlands. It's affordable and one of the few places in town that offers a Bento box for both lunch and dinner. They also have an excellent sushi menu for kids. You definitely won't be disappointed! View all feedback.

The spicy beef ramen was delicious. The broth was smooth and flavorful. Enjoyed the service and the atmosphere.

Lovely Hibachi meals at lunch. Both the shrimp and steak were exactly right and the vegetables were delicious as well. All of this is framed by wonderful service by our server...we will continue to come back!

First off, the chefs here are incredible, everything I have eaten here has been so perfect. The service leaves a lot to be desired. There 's a woman here training other waitresses, and she 's doing a fine job, but her attitude is very weird. I think there is a language barrier, but instead of getting help, she argues with customers.1. She said they only have a 6pc California roll; I had to get out the menu and point to the 8pc after arguing back and forth that they do in fact have it.2. My daughter and a friend wanted to sit at their own table for her birthday while the parents sat nearby. They ignored the kids, made us order for them, and just because they were children they were treated way more poorly than we adults were.3. They brought out my food, sat it in front of me for 2 minutes then took it away to another table, which is against health codes.4. They brought wrong orders to our table and when my friend explained she ordered the Sushi Bento the same woman argued with us more, even though she clearly brought out chicken teriyaki instead.5. I had to explain to her 6 or 7 times that she ordered something else. The woman kept saying no, no you order this until the waitress in training had to come clear things up, when it was made clear that the arguing waitress was in fact wrong the woman arguing began speaking to me like a child and patting me on the shoulder saying it ok it ok . It was quite unprofessional and embarrassing. Please do not touch the customers. But oh my God, the food was absolutely amazing. So fresh, flavorful, and astounding portions! We all had a great food experience, but they clearly need some help and bilingual management to assist with the language barrier.Kid-friendliness: Could be better with kids

Honestly on of my go-to spots in the Woodlands area.Affordable, great tasting, quiet and nice staff. Also, they are Apple Pay friendly which is a huge plus for me.I’ve tried their ramen (their main one) both styles, regular and black garlic. Both are great but I would pay for the black garlic because it’s worth it.Their (spicy tuna and yellowtail) sushi rolls are pretty decent and along with their jalapeño poppers (super hot though). A personal favorite was the yellowtail jalapeño combo. Such a classic but it hits everytime.Along with a good Sapporo and you will be just fine.
