It's easy to miss this place when driving along Sawdust Road- but this restaurant has received high ratings among Houston and local food critics alike! I had never considered salad a comfort food until eating here. The in-house smoked chicken and bacon that topped my cobb salad combined with the creamy smashed avocado and dressing mixed in was nothing short of sublime. I have visited a handful of times since discovering this restaurant-and each time was impressed with the food and service. They have smoked meat plates with sides for those who are not the salad- eating type. On my recent visit, is discovered they now have a happy hour from 3-6pm with drink and food specials. Planning my next trip now!

We... read more This was our first visit to this restaurant. We have never had the time to stop in, when we were eating in this area. This evening we made time for a visit. We are very glad that we did, as the food was delicious. The employee that waited on us was very thorough, and patient. So one of our items was a salad, that had smoked jackfruit on it, the jackfruit was absolutely delicious. Everything was great, and service was perfect.

My mom and I were doing Christmas shopping on this side of town last year and we stopped here and had a super delicious meal. We live in Richmond and we were both craving itagain so I made the drive, so worth it! The service, the decor, cleanliness, fresh ingredients? everything is top notch. I?mcraving it again as I type this review lol I hope they open more locations. Only thing I will say is I wish their menu hadphotos, it took us a while to decide the first time? but second time around we knew exactly what we wanted. We both ordered thesouthwestern steak salad, I subbed the stake for beets.
