The chicken was old and didn't look like the other cooked chicken. Not sure what language they were speaking but it was not English. My next call is going to be to the Health Department. LOOKS LIKE IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS.

It appeared as though the okra had been... read more The okra at Hartz Chicken Buffet was excessively tough and hard to eat, which is not acceptable for a dining experience. It appeared as though the okra had been refried. The chicken was a slight improvement but still fell short of expectations. The rolls were undercooked and didn't rise properly. I’ve decided to visit a different Hartz location in the future. If roast chicken isn't your specialty, it may be time to rethink your menu. Additionally, the fish came with a very thick, hard crust that was also unappealing.

They only serve hot wings and have imposed limits on orders, which gives the impression that they are cutting costs. It seems they have also reduced their staff, with even their 10-year-old son taking on cash register duties. While some employees are working hard to keep the buffet line up and running, I noticed during my visit that there was no coleslaw, and the ice machine was empty. I even had to ask for a cup of ice cream. I sincerely hope they can make some necessary improvements, or they may be at risk of closing.

Go to other Hartz!!!!

The rolls had not risen prior to cooking. I will be driving further to another Hartzs from now on. I also believeif frying chicken is not your specialty you should get out of the business. My 2-piece all-white tasted like it had been sitting a while, and the skinny breast was mostlybreading/crust with little flavor. The 7 tenders hubby received were TINY, as was the wing on my dinner. They were out ofokra, mashed potatoes were watery, and they forgot to pack the additional rolls we had paid extra for. We got our meals to go,but noticed signs at the register stating, No refund on buffet. Two fellows paid for buffets while we were picking up ourorder but then asked the staff to please put out more food as not much was on the serving line. They were told to eat what wasthere. We will never stop at this location again. Waste of money.

It looks like to save on money they have cut personnel and have their 10 yr boy running the cash register. A couple running this place are trying their best to keepwith buffet line but while I was here, they had no coleslaw available at the time; and the ice machine was empty. Had to requestfor a cup of ice. Hope they can revamp and improve this place or else it will shut down

I told her I needed to cancel thatorder and start over again and she was so rude I couldn 't believe her response. She told me I 'm not serving you and shewalked off, so I didn 't say anything and left immediately. Not good ground!
