I recently visited Cheddar's in Texas after having been to one in Pennsylvania a few years ago. I remembered all the buzz about their croissants, so I was eager to try them again, and I was not disappointed. They were delicious (and that's from someone who's not usually a fan of honey). I can’t recall the name of our server, but they were incredibly kind and frequently checked in to ensure my friend and I had everything we needed and that our meal was perfect. The chips and queso were absolutely fantastic; the cheese was creamy, and the added meat didn’t leave that greasy film that is often a turn-off. We shared a burger, and both the burger and fries were cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this location to friends and family for a lovely lunch or dinner.
The nachos were great—not the flimsy, greasy kind you often find at many Mexican restaurants. You can even add beef to your queso for free! The honey butter croissants were simply incredible—the dough was tender and fluffy, and they were perfectly glazed with honey butter without being overly sweet. I would recommend them to anyone! The BBQ burger was impressive and quite large. While I can’t say it was life-changing, it was definitely satisfying enough that we finished our halves without even realizing it. As for the service, the hostess was a little person (I mean no offense and appreciate that Cheddar's embraces diversity). She wasn't overly cheerful, but the waitstaff was very friendly. Another server made sure our drink order was taken promptly, and everything about the food and service was on point—no issues with temperature, cleanliness, or presentation. Overall, I've had great experiences here and plan to keep coming back. It’s a lovely restaurant that won’t break the bank. And if you're looking for a sweet margarita where the tequila flavor is balanced but still packs a punch, definitely try the rose fishing—fantastic!
Eating is good, just simple things, but service is slow, even if the place is empty. 3 out of 5 times service was frustrating slow, but food is cheap.
Recently. Apart from the dry settings of hostesses, customer service was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly, friendly and simply pleasant....
