Apple Spice Catering Co. - Spring

This restaurant is located on a hill and serves food made with inexpensive store brand products. The albacore tuna used in their dishes has not been fresh for months. The menu is simple and outdated. Despite advertising fresh bread, it is actually frozen and thawed as needed, making its freshness questionable. The restaurant uses expired products and the management is lazy and does not maintain proper cleanliness. As a former employee, I can say that they cut corners to save money, resulting in overpriced food that is not worth eating.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and I am so glad I did. I placed my order online and picked it up. I opted for the classic box lunch which included a turkey avocado sandwich on homemade honey bread, pickles, and a fruit cookie. The sandwiches were chosen by the staff. As soon as I walked in, the scent of freshly baked bread and cookies filled the air - it was heavenly! The sandwich was a generous size (enough for two meals for me) and the homemade bread was incredibly delicious. The sandwich also came with a scrumptious signature sauce on the side that I couldn't resist licking the container of. And the cookie, oh my, it was so rich and buttery - absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning to this place.

Had it for the first time in this week. large tasting brot and there amazing special sauce for the box sandwiches. in any case recommend.

This restaurant has quickly declined in quality. They use cheap store brand products from HEB. The "Albacore tuna" they claim to serve is actually just plain old tuna. They advertise fresh bread, but in reality, they freeze it and serve it when needed, regardless of how old it may be. They also use expired products even when questioned by customers. The management is lazy and the place is infested with bugs. As a former employee, I recommend saving your money and dining elsewhere.
