Menu

On this website, you will find the complete menu of Jack Rabbit Vineyard from Spray. Currently, there are 67 dishes and drinks available.

Jack Rabbit Vineyard offers stunning views and a beautiful vineyard setting. However, recent reviews have pointed out issues with the service and food quality. Guests have experienced long wait times between dishes, lack of communication from staff, and disappointing mains such as dry lamb burgers and small portions. Some customers were left unsatisfied with the gluten-free options and felt that their complaints were not taken seriously by management. Despite these drawbacks, the ambience and views were highly praised, with exceptional service noted by some patrons. Overall, while the location and staff received rave reviews, improvements in food quality and service communication are needed to match the expected fine dining experience.

Was Melissa Navarrete at Jack Rabbit Vineyard a mag?
Thanks to Lyndsay and her family for everything they've done for Geelong in the winery business. We have been here many times to dine and the food is always great, with the most magnificent view. We loved the Indonesian Mussels today and the Kaiso salad with the squid. Meals are always a reasonable price. It was fully booked online but staff managed to squeeze us in after a call. The Staff couldn't have been anymore... View all feedback.

What Henri Jerde dislikes about Jack Rabbit Vineyard:
Okay the food was good, the wait staff non attentive and dressed like slobs, oversized teeshirts looked terrible. We watched a family with babies leave with food all over the floor, waitstaff saw it and walked straight pass. They seated a family and we watched...a guest mosh his feet in the food. Customer service poor, no smiles, nothing. The location is beautiful, the experience very poor. View all feedback.

That's the first time we were. what a great place with a wide view of the bay, avalon and melbourne in the far away. the personal was excellent, friendly, attentive, but not intruded. a great suggestion for the wine, a bright sparkling red....A great balance well made all. the food was excellent and simple enough. pork belly on-tray with klempner sauce was excellent. net with crispy cube (not too perfection crunchy, but damp inside) and snapper with smoked mush. the lemon sauce and drilling were also great. desert was panna cotta and cream brule with blueberry gum. this was reasonably a big afternoon with family with lively talk from the night, eating and family rising.

On a brighter note, the customer service in this busy atmosphere was polite and attentive, which was a definite highlight. Overall, there are certainly aspects that shine, but there are also areas that need improvement.

Well, to say I am disappointed is the understatement of the century. Following MONTHS of email communication with the events manager, I was feeling confident that a pretty straightforward lunch with a sign and some pre delivered flowers would be smooth and hassle free event. Clearly, it was naive of me to expect that Jack Rabbit is the sort of venue that can handle something so simple. The bride and her party arrived to be told that there was no booking, no mention of a Bridal Shower. There was no table set up, no sign, no flowers. After 30mins of discussion with one of your staff members (who said repeatedly and EXTREMELY rudely said that we don 't hold decorations, that 's not something we ever do, you definitely were not told that would be okay one of the waitresses found the $100 sign stuffed out the back. How lovely, glad it was being treated so nicely. The table was crammed in the corner of the room, with the party so tightly seated that they couldn 't move their elbows. They could barely move their chairs out, and the table was CLEARLY not meant for 13 guests I 'd hazard a guess at 10, maximum. The flowers, which I had confirmed repeatedly with the events manager that they would be set up, were not on the table one of the staff members managed to rummaged up a few of them that had been stashed out the back in some office. It wasn 't until the girls were leaving the event that they discovered a tray full of dried out vases that had been carelessly tossed out the back somewhere, sitting directly in the hot sun. The drinks, which I had pre planned and confirmed, were not delivered the wait staff claimed that they had not been informed of any wine pre selection. The girls had to pretty much choose on the spot. What on earth was the point of confirming the choice? I am so, so angry. Living in the US, I was powerless to supervise the set up, and Jack Rabbit 's assured me time and again that everything would be under control. The events manager wasn 't even there this i can forgive, because something unforeseen had happened. But, the rest of the staff were given no instructions, no heads up. It was like the months of discussion between the two of us had never happened. This was meant to be a special day for my baby sister, but instead it was just a messy, uncomfortable, stressful, embarrassing, classless lunch. There was no point me booking months in advance the party literally could have walked in off the street, and it would have been the same. DO NOT HOLD ANY EVENT HERE. DO NOT EAT HERE. Do yourself a favour, and go anywhere else. God help you if you book a wedding you 'll probably turn up on the day to find some other party in the room. BTW, I 'm happy to share the confirmation emails with anyone who 'd like to see, in case there 's any question of the validity of this review.
