The hostess... read more After being told the dining room was full with a 30-minute wait, we mentioned going elsewhere since my dad is diabetic and couldn’t wait that long. The hostess insisted there was a table at the bar available and it wouldn’t be an issue. We took the table and ordered immediately, including soup and an appetizer. However, nothing arrived—no soup, no appetizer. Our drinks were never refilled either. The waitress would just rush by saying she’d “go shake up the kitchen.” After waiting over an hour, I finally approached her and asked for the bill so we could leave. Suddenly, she “found” our food, which was cold. We barely touched anything. To make matters worse, she hovered over my dad while he was signing the credit card slip, making sure he tipped her. I will never return or recommend this place. I understand there’s a staff shortage, but this wasn’t the kitchen’s fault—the cold food showed the waitress never checked on our order despite saying she would multiple times. Most importantly, they risked my dad’s health by delaying essential food items like the soup and appetizer until everything else arrived.
