From the moment the food came, the smells, presentation and taste of the food made this a new favorite spot. I had the Blackened Prawns (a must-have) and my guest had the Top Sirloin, topped off with the Mud Pie. Including the fresh mixed drinks before, we give it ALL five-stars. It was a bit noisy and the packed house could have used another server, but I still highly recommend. View all feedback.
What Danielle Mancillas doesn't like about Wiley's Downtown Bistro:
Had my birthday dinner here and couldn’t partake in all the fancy drinks and foods due to a migraine. When I have migraines, I crave salty foods so ordering the jalapeño cheese bread item was a must and baby…it was delish! Didn’t love my duck meal but heard the salmon and chicken pasta were great as well. View all feedback.
I was in town for my union convention and, as the food and beverage person for my delegation (self-appointed) I looked into Wiley's and knew we had to visit. Since dinner breaks aren't long and we were on foot Wiley's location close to the convention center was a plus. Our dinner break was early and we go to Wiley's while it was mostly empty. It filled up! I was with a group of four who love good food and also like to share! We started with a baked brie dish with lots of drizzle to scoop up and it was lovely. The thinly sliced apple was a great accompaniment to this dish. I shared a crab topped salmon dish with a friend that was truly special! It was perfectly cooked and piled on a risotto cake with drizzles and lots of crunchy toppings. The split the dish for us and plated both beautifully! A friend had the blackened prawns with raspberry chili and rice cake... The Brussels sprouts salad was a revelation with thinly sliced crispy crunchy sprouts and crunchy toppings. I would go back just for this. We also had some great grilled asparagus with balsamic drizzle and some great wine. The local art for sale on the walls is great and we finished up sharing a mud slide dessert that was just about more than the four of us could finish. We definitely did finish it though. We all loved the restroom signs. This is the kind of local, quirky, fantastic and enthusiastic place that we love to go to when we visit other places for our conventions!
Wileys is one of my absolute favorite downtown restaurants for spokane. This is a fantastic place for dates, meets, special occasions, etc! The menu is diverse and has a variety of meat options so anyone from vegetarian/vegans to meat lovers can enjoy, and the staff is more then accommodating for food allergies and dietary restrictions. Food is super consistent and delicious; I love all of the starters but maybe the ahi tuna tower the most. The specials for your main course are always devine and lovely, or stick with a classic like the beef wellington! And my all time favorite dessert is creme Brule! They make the absolute most devine brule and it is also the biggest serving I 've ever gotten in spokane. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming with always friendly and helpful staff. The new location has gorgeous exposed brick and is tucked between revival tea and wanderlust-so if you want to pregame with tea or cheese before you 're meal! Will continue to come back and bring more friends for any occasion!Vegetarian options: The staff is more then accommodating with ensuring vegetarian options are available!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome; however this is an upscale restaurant that I would personally only bring older or extremely well behaved children to.Parking: Parking is on street (meters so free after 7) or in the diamond lot across the street (roughly $7 bucks for 2 hours). The parking garage is also a block or so away as yet another parking option.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide front door however may be slightly difficult to navigate the walkways. Im sure staff would accommodate this!Dietary restrictions: Very helpful waitstaff to confirm what is safe to eat or not, as well as accomodating kitchen staff who are happy to create a safe for you dish!
Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. The flavorful food, the ambience, the staff, all WONDERFUL! My husband said the short rib was the best he's ever eaten. My chefs special shrimp pasta was packed with flavor. The cheesy garlic bread was out ot this world. Local art on the walls. The prices are good as well. Loved it!
