I can not say enough good things about this place! The food was awesome . We had the Prime Rib dip and the Mushroom Ravioli. Our server was wonderful, beginning to end. The atmosphere was dark and relaxing. This place felt like an old-school steak house with an upscale lounge vibe. I can 't believe it took me this long to finally check it out. What Amie Bradshaw doesn't like about The Barrel Steak Seafood House:
Second time I have eaten here and I have been very underwhelmed both times. Drinks are average. I enjoyed a huckleberry drink and tasted very fake-huckleberry flavored but the description did not specify fresh . My partner had a margarita- and he does not drink much and said he tasted way more sweet and sour then anything. The hamburger was juicy. So juicy the toppings and buns couldn 't stay in place to really enjoy... View all feedback.
What a wonderful find. This smallish neighborhood place has a wonderful atmosphere with very attentive friendly staff. The food selection was surprisingly top notch that matched its quality. Kudos to the ownership, chef and staff. You all have a solid hit!Food: 5/5
2nd time there. First time during Covid and that was a better experience by far. This time maybe they were short staffed. Our waiter seemed overworked, very friendly, but a bit rattled at times. A couple mistakes made, timing of appetizer and receiving main meal wasn't good, food portion size for the money and some prep quality certainly could have been better. An allowance was given on an item due to an error, which we appreciated. At least six tables were empty as we left and people waiting to be seated, but to be fair not really sure how long they had been there. Again, staffing issue could account for some of the problems, but not all. Hard to look past the lower than average experience, and pricing for meal size just left a sour taste. Wish it all had been better, but probably will not be back. Sorry.

We had the surf and turf celebrating a birthday. It consisted of Dungeness crab legs with filet mignon and was hands down one of the best meals we have ever eaten $65 each, but was the most expensive dinner entree on the menu and well worth it). I had a raspberry lemon drop martini and my husband had an old-fashioned, both drinks were excellent and ran about $10 each. The building is unassuming with an old-school steak house vibe inside. There is a quaint outdoor patio with a water feature but we preferred the cocktail lounge for the comfortable swivel chairs. Highly recommend!
We were visiting from Nebraska and were there for our anniversary. It was amazing. Next time we go to Spokane we will be stopping by again!Food: 5/5
