Shogun was able to accommodate a large group of us. They were very entertaining as they prepared our dinners. The food was very good! One of the best steaks I have ever had, and cooked exactly how I ordered it! View all feedback.
What HAHA S doesn't like about Shogun:
This was my first time in this new location, and I was disappointed. It was not cozy. It smelled awful (I couldn't tell what it was, but it was unpleasant. The food didn't taste fresh and flavorful probably due to the poor quality of cheap oil and butter they use. The rag they use to clean the hot plate is stinky and dirty. We booked a Hibachi table for 2 we were seated with 8 other diners at first everything seemed to be ok all other tables were full but there was only two Hibachi chefs for the whole restaurant with the servers was utter chaos the chef called for white rice 4 times and did not get any we got around of drinks and they barely got to the table the food was not up to par for what we knew in the past from the Shogun they are gravely under staffed and I think this was the whole problem the table next to us got up and left after about 45 minutes not very good for the owners we have decided that there are other places in town and next time it will be Anthony's for us sorry Shogun.

Made a reservation, but got a call about 1.5 hours before hand asking us to shift to a later time, which we agreed to. Unfortunately we were there for 45 minutes without so much as a drink order taken before we gave up and left. We were unable to even order a drink at the bar, and it appeared they were working with just one chef. I understand and appreciate short staffing, but don’t waste people’s time if you aren’t going to be able to accommodate them, especially at a place this expensive. There were still two other tables ahead of us who hadn’t placed orders, it probably would have taken another hour before food was even served. Disappointed, because it smelled good and we were looking forward to a good meal.

If you have a reservation, your night goes much smoother. Definitely glad we did that! GREAT people with a real family atmosphere and good energy. Our chef was so funny and very engaging. The food was really good and we were happy with everything we ordered! Which is really a tall order with our group of 8. Great value for the food. They seemed a little disorganized when we first arrived, but that could have been due to people showing up without reservations.
