There are so many bakeries and coffee shops out there—but this one is one in a million. From the second we walked in, the barista (Christine greeted us with a b... read more There are so many bakeries and coffee shops out there—but this one is one in a million. From the second we walked in, the barista (Christine greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly. It felt almost like meeting an old friend who was really excited to see you again. There are tons of fresh baked goods the owners make themselves (wow! and the coffee is roasted by the owners too. There’s also tons of seating. We got bagels and Christine whipped them up quickly for us, while simultaneously taking care of other customers’ orders and greeting people in line and taking their orders. We were there for an hour and the place was hopping. She was so cheerful and caring towards each customer that came in—even the rude and demanding ones (which isn’t easy! . This is a great place with good coffee and plenty of delicious baked goods—but experiencing this outstanding customer service makes it shine above all the others. We’d love to stop by again next time we’re out here! Christine, you should win an award for most cheerful barista in Washington state!

They serve Yerba mate, which is such a treat. Love this place.
