Osaka Sushi Hibachi Buffet - Spokane

This place is actually a quite large place for Chinese and even other Asian dishes. You have a good selection of sushi among other really good Asian cuisine. Try the Peanut Chicken OMG! Some of the best Chinese I've ever had! I had almost 5 stars, but when we left, the service was missing. It took forever for the server to bring us our drinks and very rarely he checked for us. Except for the GREAT BUFFET! Recommended! Just don't expect class A service.

It was never a highly valued place to eat, but there are great changes. The food is more like Mongolian grill that this part was ok. But the few, and I mean, very few things at the buffet were not so great. Egg blossom soup had a thick skin on her...not impressed. This place was a favorite for many years. No more. I went home feared food poisoning and the place had a dirty feeling for it. Carpet could use a cleaning. The table was sticky. We should have left.

The staff was nice. Inside the restaurant was dark and was not great atmosphere wise. Some of the foods seemed fresh and delicious, but a bit of what we tasted as if it was there for a very long time. (Soups, wontons, some of the shrimps, dumplings)

So can't say that the food was terrible... if they just put out more, many empty spots. We had to sit and wait for more food. There were many plates for sushi, but only two were released in a time... I had to ask for more inlaid ginger and got something, but no one else would have got a kiss that they didn't take anymore. Waited an hour before they again more seafood and a tray of jello was never filled again. Giant freezer for ice and there were only four cups at 6:30. Thank you to the one who checked us and made the sushi and cleared our plates, although I'm sure another person should do it.

Pro: Food was for the most part mid at best. The best thing about the restaurant is the on demand Hibachi/Mongolian station to make ur own dish. Cons: three words. Dirty, lacking and old. Dirty plates, and sauce bottles covered in dust or old dripped sauce. Dirty rags in plane View next to eating stations. Old ice cream in a jank freezer. And when picking the teriyaki sauce in Mongolian it tastes old and not fresh.
