Chan’s is a wonderful surprise in Spokane! All the dishes are made with great care and ingredients. Fresh and handmade noodles, this is a delicious place for lunch or dinner. Casual and cozy spot in the Flour Mill. We were so excited we barely had time to remember a picture! View all feedback.
Called no answer or voicemail stating they are closed. Can here on my lunch and had to pay for parking for nothing. Really bummed. ?
A little hidden gem! Great food and service large portions and a fair price.
A little hidden gem. Go here for a quick and affordable lunch. We had a veggie noodle bowl, tomato noodle bowl, and pork potstickers. All prepared fresh! The housemade hot chili sauce is really food. Piquant and just spicy enough. The owners were friendly and so nice to talk to.Vegetarian options: There aren't a lot of veggie options on the menu, but the chef is obliging and inventive if asked.
I saw this restaurant in the Flour Mill after getting a facial. I saw the dumplings on a sign posted in the window and they looked good, so I went in. I waited at the front for a few minutes to be served until I looked over the counter to see a woman with her arms folded and her head face down on the counter, asleep. I tapped her and she woke up and said she was sorry, and that’s it’s her first day on the job. I ordered shrimp, pork, and beef fried dumplings. While I was waiting to be served, the woman who took my order could be heard over my AirPods talking loudly into a cellphone. Then another lady came into the store and they both had loud conversation for about 20 minutes. This would have been fine if my AirPods had been able to cover up the noise but they were turned up as far as they could go. As I was leaving, I discovered that the lady she was talking to was also an employee. I just wanted to enjoy my meal in peace. I wish I could at least say that the dumplings were amazing. The shrimp and pork ones were a 6.5/10. The beef ones were inedible; I only ate the skin off of them. The meal was not worth the money spent and that’s including the free bowl of white rice I was given by the sleeping lady. The unprofessionalism was appalling from beginning to end. I see that this place has good reviews. I wonder why my experience was different.
