Utterly charming! I'm not going to lie about the area of Spokane it's a tad rough looking. However, the garden area out front, the cottage, the food, the tea, and the staff were wonderful. I made a reservation for my friend and me. We wanted a place where we could slow down and catch up on life while experiencing a bit of whimsy. This place was perfect, it checked all of the boxes! They even accommodated the gluten/d... View all feedback.
We went this weekend for a belated Mother's Day Tea. It was wonderful! I have a wheat intolerance so my husband requested the gluten-free option for me. It was AMAZING. Often times gluten-free options feel like second class substitutions. The gluten free tea offerings were as wonderful as the main tea. In fact my daughter nibbled some on mine and like it even better than the standard offerings. : The interior decor is beautiful and classy. There were four of us at tea and we all had a wonderful time. Everything was delicious and the staff was wonderful. We will be back

I wanted to love this place but sadly it was SO disappointing. I surprised my mom with the mother's days tea. When we arrived no one said happy mother's day or did much to greet us. Our teatime was 3pm and we waited for over 35 minutes for the food to be served. No one explained what we were eating and then found out at the end they forgot to give us the mother's day menu at our place setting. The food was disappointing and the tea was not steeped long enough at all. We did enjoy the scones but they were quite small. The most upsetting part of all was that the cottage had a terrible smell. We were unsure if this was coming from the kitchen or if it was the building itself, or both. The mother's day tea was very expensive and I expected more from the service and the quality of the food and tea. I so badly wanted to love this place. The staff were friendly but didn't make us feel special for it being a special occasion tea. The place settings were nice and the aside from the smell the place had a charm to it.
I’ve been back here twice in the last week, if you even remotely like tea, try it out…their trays of food are perfectly portioned, their tea blends are wonderful. Perfect for a mother daughter date, an afternoon with your friends, or just a little date with a significant other.Check the weather before selecting patio or garden seating, though…they gave us quilts but it was still chilly at the end.
The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home and comfy, and are excellent conversationalist.
