The food was good. And I loved that they were able to split the items I shared with my friend onto separate plates. The menu was interesting with some good items. Everyone was happy with their food. What Bud Jameson doesn't like about 1898 Public House:
While the waitress was incredibly nice, the food was not. The Ahi tuna poke seemed like it was very fishy and the texture indicated it had been prepared earlier in the week and then frozen The tuscan pasta was also a disaster. The sauce was nothing more than melted butter and grease which just stunk of garlic and no other flavors. Honestly for the prices this place is charging, the quality is inexcusably bad. The barbecued ribs and corn on the cob and macaroni and cheese was excellent.
Our waitress, Karly, was in her second week of serving and did a Phenomenal job. ?

We had a great patio brunch today. The only thing missing was the frosted flakes french toast. Please bring it back on the menu.
