Pita Pit - Spokane Valley

During our holiday in the US, we decided to visit the Spokane Mall. Instead of opting for the never-ending burgers, I chose to order a pita. I informed the server that I was vegan and inquired about the Beyond Meat burrito. Unfortunately, I was told that it was not vegan due to the buffalo sauce containing dairy. I selected a different vegan sauce, but when my pita arrived, it was filled with cheese. My husband ended up ordering two lunches. In hindsight, I should have chosen a fully vegan option such as falafel, hummus, or black bean items, as there were available choices. It would have been satisfactory without the cheese, and it was a better alternative compared to the heavy meat-based menus found throughout the rest of the mall.

The restaurant was empty and the staff seemed unoccupied. They could benefit from training on how to better accommodate customers without appearing inconvenienced. Additionally, they should be more careful about expressing their opinions on dietary choices.

I enjoy dining at this restaurant because they offer tasty and budget-friendly food that can be customized to suit your preferences. My go-to order is the black bean burger in a personalized pita.
