I absolutely love this place! They serve the best teriyaki in the city, and the service is lightning-fast. Our waitress was both funny and attentive. The portion sizes are generous, and they definitely offer great value. I also really appreciate the decor—it's beautiful! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dragon Inn:
The restaurant offers a typical, lackluster Asian menu that seems to be popular among those who don’t have much knowledge of this type of cuisine. The egg foo young was overwhelmed by bland, industrial flavors, which was quite strange. The dish didn’t hold together well. The woman's wonton soup resembled a mishmash, with just a few wontons, some char siu, and a scattering of vegetables. The rangoons were decent, poss... View all feedback.
Man. I really don't write bad reviews on places, but I feel almost committed to this time. I'm stupid that the 4 stars have. the only good thing was that the waitress was beautiful as it can be. the eating was just evil. had a hair to begin in my suppe, which was not a great thing it happened, but it was for the healing for what was for the rest of the meal. to be honest, the Chinese food is safer away than that. the chow mine, was terrible, it looked like cat food. it was all drowned in random sauce to cover how bad it was. I would say that I just ordered the wrong one, but my wife got something completely different, and it was the same story, nasty dried meat scattered in the sauce to cover how rough it was. I had only 2 stars because the waiters tried hard and were super nice and polite.
I don 't typically leave reviews unless something is exceptional and rarely a bad review but this is the exception because it was absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever had and the service was just as bad. We ordered a family meal for three. Served 'Won Ton ' soup first. Disgusting. Tasted as if they had been freezer burnt. The meal included plates of sweet n sour chicken, Almond chicken, noodle chow mein, fried rice and fried shrimp. Two portions were set before us. Then we were left for over 10 minutes, to stare at the food in front of us. We waited patiently for the entirety of our meal before my daughter gave waitress a wave to remind her we were there. Then she brought rest of our dinner portions. By then the food that came first was cold and the other food arrived cold. Everything was disgusting. Not even the fortune cookies were tolerable. Was way over-priced and we couldn 't even eat a thing. Horrible in every way!
The food was very good. I ordered a combo plate so I was able to taste a little bit of 6 items on the menu. The portions were so big that I was able to have a a complete dinner the next night. I do recommend this establishment.
I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan (sweet and savory) and paid extra for fried rice. When my meal arrived, it was barely warm and tasted like it had been pre-made and microwaved. I called the server over to discuss it, and she said they could microwave it for me. I was taken aback. The fried rice was also lukewarm—I could touch it with my finger, and it definitely wasn’t at the safe temperature of 140°F as it should have been. I’ve included a picture of the fried rice, which I wouldn’t even call fried rice. It had just a minuscule piece of fried egg in it, and I had paid extra for that? When my plate returned, it was clear that they hadn’t prepared a new one; they had simply microwaved my original order. Additionally, the chef came out to justify her cooking, but I didn’t want to create a scene, so I just said it was fine. To say the least, I won’t be going back. Oh, and when I got home, I checked their inspection report online, and let’s just say it wasn’t reassuring.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! They serve the best teriyaki in town, and the service is incredibly fast. Our waitress was not only attentive but also fun to chat with. The portion sizes are generous, so you can count on having leftovers. I also really appreciate the decor—it's simply beautiful!
