Boston's Restaurant Sports Bar

Has the French dip it was good but not great. We kind of felt rushed so they could be done.

My family went to Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar in the Spokane Valley on Saturday, May 4, 2024. My wife ordered the habanero mango chicken sandwich and I got the penne pasta with grilled chicken. Our kids ordered off the children’s menu with my daughter opting for the burger and fries while my son got the chicken nuggets and fries. When it comes to the food itself, I would say it was overall good. My pasta tasted decent and I really liked the bread it came with. My wife said her sandwich was good and my children were happy with their meals.I would say the prices are a tad on the high side (but again, just a tad). The children’s menu appears to be a good deal with the meals starting at $7 and including a drink but many of the kids meals aren’t $7 and you have to pay extra for sides. You can order a pasta bowl for $14 which is very affordable but if you add any protein to it or you get one of their featured pastas it will run you a least $18-$20. For the portion size and the overall quality (which is good but not great), I just wouldn’t rate the overall value as excellent.The restaurant itself has seen better days. It is outdated. The service? It was awesome. I think our server was the manager on duty and we really appreciated her attentiveness, accuracy, and pleasant demeanor. There are worse places to go than Boston’s.

I came here with my family of 4 for lunch. It was the first time we had dinned here. So we were excited to try a new restaurant. Our waitress took our drink order. As we continued to look the menu. The waitress waited 10 mins to come back. We gave her our order then waited another 10 mins for drinks to be brought to our table. We then waited another 35 mins patiently. Thats when we noticed that the people who came in after us was being served their food. The manager and waitress kept walking by our table not making eye contact. We had been waiting for almost an hour now no food no appetizers no side salads. The other tables that came in after us were done eating and leaving the restaurant. The manager well I can only assume he was the manager taller guy dark hair, came over to “check on our table” we told him we had been there nearly an hour. Instead of him apologizing he then told us we were not there for an hour. He went back to check on food. We hear the cook said 15 minutes. He comes back to our table and say it’s almost ready. We told him we will pay for our drinks. But waiting over an hour for our food was not expectable. We were ready to leave. He then tells us again we have not been waiting for an hour. Gives us attitude and says “do you want me to bring your food then?” We said that’s the problem we been waiting for our food. And now you are here at the table arguing with us. And we still waiting. We then told him we were leaving. He said again your food is about to come out. Do you want me to bring your food or not? We said not.12 noon was when we were seated. It is now 1:10 still no food. Someone should speak to the manager about customer service. Instead of argue with my wife in front of everyone in the restaurant. Disappointing to say the least. Terrible experience will not be back.

Great Place To Grab A Bite. BIG menu-!Be decisive lol. Do NOT go with a overthinking scrapbooking mother lol...

It was fun and staff was friendly. Food was good as well.
