What User doesn't like about Zalogajnica Dioklecijan:
Terribly rude staff, who only let us order certain items, despite them being on the menu, most probably because of us being tourists. There was a dead mouse under the table, glasses were dirty and the salad (the only thing we were permitted to order) tasted like nail varnish. The view is nice but that is it, would not recommend to any tourists. View all feedback.

Also known as Tri Volta, this restaurant is a hidden gem with a lot less personality compared to the upscale tourist bars in Split's old town, and that's exactly why we love it! It's a local favorite with a menu featuring authentic, hearty dishes. The ham and cheese platter is a must-try. If you're seeking vibrant nightlife, this may not be the place for you, but if you want to experience the charm of old Split, this is the spot. If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up!
A unique and historic bistro can be found tucked away in the rear of an ancient palace, offering stunning views of the sea and promenade. This cozy and charming spot, nestled under the stone walls, provides an unforgettable dining experience with delicious local cuisine. Despite navigating through the narrow palace streets, stumbling upon a hotel vestibule, one must continue on to discover this authentic, old-school gem. Such a place would be appreciated anywhere in the world, but especially in the heart of a Roman palace.
Very nice local feel. The ham sandwich really was just hearty bread and thick slices of freshly cut ham, but was a perfect afternoon snack to have a draft Croatian beer.
