the guide miro leads them to amazing dining, restaurants, caffes and shops to make them feel instantly as at home in split. it is a great opportunity to learn the city without being in a big, impersonal tour group. before the tour I knew a bit about split so that miro made sure that the tour is phoned accordingly. so amazing! Vegan food tour with Mijo was great and consisted out of 4 tasting locations we mostly tried local authentic plant based gastronomy and it was all packed into fun and interesting storytelling way with nice taste and great local culture. Absolutely worth it thanks for great tour and inside stories and tips to survive as a vegan in Croatia !
Absolutely excellent vegan tour under Mijo! My friend and I came to this tour expected to eat only food in a few restaurants, but we didn't know we were for an incredible tour of Split to see so much history and sights. Overall, this was a truly unique experience and Mijo had the best personality. I recommend taking this tour during a visit to Split, ideally the first or second day of your trip.
My partner booked this tour for my birthday and it was incredible! Our tour guide Mijo was truly wonderful and I’m so knowledgeable about the vegan food options in the area (he is vegan himself). I won’t ruin the surprise telling you exactly what we tried but we got to try 3 very delicious vegan options in the city, one of which was a local delicacy that I never would have known about without the tour. I highly recommend trying out this tour and supporting Mijo on his mission to bring more vegan options into Split. Updated from previous review on 2022-04-26
Mijo is extremely knowledgeable of Split vegan food, culture, history and surroundings. It was a delight to be with him and share our personal vegan stories. The 4 eateries and food he introduced to us was excellent. Come hungry!
Mijo was a great host, really friendly, and showed us some great eateries, including things not on the normal menu. Would strongly recommend for any vegetarian or vegan going to Split.
