This restaurant is a hidden gem. It offers high quality food that is a step above typical street fare. While the prices may be slightly higher, the dining experience and food quality make it worth it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Konoba Kod Sfinge:
420 kuna for two risottos that were just ok, and a number of starters that do not contain 2 of 5 starters. When the waiter was asked, the waiter disappeared. When he came back to collect the dishes, we asked him again and he explained that there is a very small amount of appetizers, simply crushed on the dish as decoration. So we have two glasses of wine as compensation. A very bad experience and do not recommend it.... View all feedback.
The food was underwhelming, particularly the seafood dishes which did not meet expectations for a restaurant located so near the ocean.
The food was delicious, but the prices were too high. The waiter was extremely creepy and made me feel uncomfortable to the point where I didn't want to go to the bathroom alone (even though I am a 22-year army veteran). He claimed the card machine wasn't working until I mentioned I couldn't pay, at which point it suddenly started working. Overall, the food was good but the experience was terrible.

We got duped into going to this restaurant when the hostess called it a “family business” and the seafood being “freshly caught this morning” she guaranteed the food would be excellent. The mussels must have been vegetating in water tanks for months as they were so shrivelled and tiny. The Dalmatian Octopus dish looked nothing like the pictures. A pathetic 2 tentacles in a tasteless broth with potatoes. Though we saw other tables order the same dish later and I guess they bothered to buy more ingredients by then, as at least their’s had tomatoes. I’ve honestly had fresher seafood in Kazakhstan!!! You know what else is a family business? The executive branch of the US government. Don’t get sucked in by their BS lines, and guilt trip business strategy!!!
