I ordered the fried steak, which had beef that tasted old, while my husband opted for the seafood platter. The shrimp didn’t have the right flavor, and the fish was coated in a thick, tough batter. Additionally, my potatoes were quite watery.

I ordered an $18 hamburger steak, and it lacked any flavor. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning to this once-favorite spot.

The chicken fried steak was a nice cut, thick and not a Grissle. It did not even seem to be salted.
