Opie's Barbecue

The food was great, atmosphere was great and the staff was great! The only reason I rated service a 3 was because it was a little confusing walking in. You order your protein right at the door and then you kind of have to guess at what you’re supposed to do. Pretty confusing, but the staff really was friendly and the food was great!

I recently visited Opie's Barbecue and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The place had a very strong and unpleasant odor that was hard to ignore. The food was mediocre at best, and the portions of side dishes were minimal, especially considering the high prices. The drinks lacked flavor, and the water provided was lukewarm. Overall, the value for money was poor, and I would advise against dining here.

Might be our favorite BBQ anywhere. It might be some of the best food in the world in my opinion. This time we had jalapeno cheddar sausage, baby back ribs, and tater tots casserole which is just next level. I'm going to try and recreate it at home. The complimentary beans are fantastic, so soft and luxurious. The sauce is bright and tangy, a perfect compliment to the rich smoky meats. I'll be dreaming about this meal for a while. And their whole jalapenos are great too!

They pick and choose who they are going to help in line and in what order. Very odd
