Decided to take my Dad out for Father's day and we had heard it was very good. Arrived at 4:45 and we were told that it would be a 20 minute wait. Good not bad for Father's day. The Prime Rib was absolutely wonderful! The service was excellent, and the drinks were top-notch. The staff was very friendly, and the establishment was impeccably clean. I would definitely make the drive of over an hour again to enjoy a meal here! I loved it!
We ordered the Montgomery cut steak, and it was absolutely delicious! I had a wedge salad and a baked potato as my sides. The salad was large enough to be a meal on its own or to share, and the potato was massive, though I prefer mine cooked a bit longer. The service was excellent. I would definitely return if I found myself in the area again. The restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor seating, and there were several kids present. We didn't indulge in dessert since we were too full from dinner.
For our meal, I ordered the New York Strip, a baked potato, and a Caesar salad. While the steak was good, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The salad was really enjoyable, and the bread was just okay. The baked potato was a decent size but overcooked. Our server was excellent—very attentive and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be inclined to return anytime soon. For the price we paid, I feel we could have found better food elsewhere. I'm really disappointed.
