Zur Neuen Pfalz - Speyer

The New Palatinate is my favorite restaurant in Ludwigshafen if I want to go well with a visitor. I have never been disappointed by the always very friendly host and his also nice staff.

The beer garden with the old trees is super cozy. Staff friendly and food not overpriced and always delicious.

We were there for dinner, sitting in the beer garden under these beautiful old trees. We ate scavenger with roast potato and salad and a Nice salad with turkey breast strips. Both were fresh, tastefully prepared and the portions were sufficient. The staff was friendly, so we like to come back.

Here you can eat summer, like winter very delicious food. Sunday to the lunch table, however, it is useful to reserve in advance. I have also rarely seen a restaurant where children are so welcome. Here just fits everything! We are at least 1x a month there for dinner

I don't know where to start.... The foods here are mostly not made themselves. The salad comes from buckets and is packed on the plate without love. The dressing is also made from the bag and without taste. A hard-cooked egg was truly served on a rag steak with egg... Really a pity to ruin the meat. The service is striving but does not save the situation of food. Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu was edible, but just came out of the fryer... The audience is mostly old and so the restaurant is designed for food or decor. Culinary this is a giant disaster!!
