I went to this place roughly 20 years ago, loved every moment there. I really wished I could have stayed longer but, alas I was only able to stay1.5 hrs. If I could go back there again I would. The staff were wonderful and treated my curiosity with enthusiasm. I still have two large stones I bought there and, I think it's time I cracked those puppies open. View all feedback.

Saw the sign on the side of the road from I-15. Exited off of 180. You can get some opal jewelry, fish and chips and some gas here. The original convenience store. The pink opal is the rarest. I had a great time searching for beautiful opals at the mine, shopping for unique gifts, and enjoying delicious food at the store! You definitely need to check it out!
Great folks, was a pleasure to visit and pick some pretties!
Beautiful one of a kind opals. Family owned business. Very knowledgeable. Will buy again on line and in person.

They were putting together some marquis shaped dangle earrings on sterling silver posts. The pink gold is available, but the backings are white gold. It's an additional $100 or so. I settled on the sterling silver post and marquis since they had no earrings readily available with the white gold posts or sterling silver posts. $200 for the small dangling sterling silver opal earrings.
