Very tiny portions, my husbands was slightly bigger. I can understand they don’t want waste but we were not having the buffet. We had from the al a carte menu. The tiny plate was only half full.we paid over £30 for a tiny meal and a shared rice. A can of coke and a can of strongbow. I feel in shock still at how tiny the portions were. View all feedback.
Good: The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable, providing fast and welcoming service. The restaurant is very clean and the menu offers a good variety of choices. However, the price for soft drinks is high at £3.60 per can. Not good: The drink prices are expensive and there is pressure to order more drinks. The wait staff seems to encourage customers to drink quickly in order to order more. The restaurant serves drinks in large glasses and insists on pouring for you. The food is very salty, with the Hot & Sour soup being excessively salty. When requesting soy sauce, we were given Maggi seasoning instead. There is no physical menu for the Chinese buffet indicating the £24 price. Overall, despite these issues, I had a positive experience and will likely return in the future.
Have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience.this week we celebrated a special event so had a take away delivered to the house food excellent everything we asked for and a complimentary bottle of wine for the birthday lady. Thank you ,you helped make our special evening a great night.
Me and my partner fancied a Chinese and was told Yum Yum was a nice place to go. When we arrived we were sat down and ordered drinks. I just wanted a glass of tap water, but the lady was charging me £2 so I decided to just get a coke. The food was very disappointing, the starters was okay, but the chicken wing looked like a dead mouse and had a cheesy twang to it. The duck was cold and had fatty bits, was defiantly not fresh. After the buffet I would normally be stuffed, but I couldn't eat as much as I would of liked too and would defiantly not be going here again. Be warned!!
Conveniently located close to our hotel this was an ideal place after a long day of travel and work. Fast, friendly service and delicious food. Yum yum above the door and yum yum behind the door.
Very lovely staff. Food very good. Yes small portions but you just keep ordering more so was ideal. Excellent quality of food. Very impressed.
