What lizzyh2020 doesn't like about The Star:
We have visited a few times mainly when we are finishing work on a Friday night and having a few before getting the train. We have always loved this pub been coming in for quite a while now. One of probably the only two pubs in this area that show football matches. It is a small but warm place. No choices of hot food here but definately a good option if you wanna watch some football. Also this place is pet friendly. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a cozy corner of the neighborhood, The Star pub has long been a favorite for casual gatherings and sports enthusiasts. While patrons appreciate its friendly atmosphere and outdoor beer garden, recent experiences highlight a concerning decline in service and food quality. Many miss the lively local music that once brought vibrancy to the venue. Though the drinks remain reasonably priced and refreshing, diners have expressed dissatisfaction with limited food options and inconsistent service. For The Star to reclaim its status as a cherished local hub, a renewed focus on music and quality offerings is essential.
This welcoming pub is an ideal spot to enjoy watching football. Highly recommended.
