Straws Bbq - Sparta

Oh my goodness, this was definitely the worst BBQ I have ever tried. The pulled pork was bland and lacked seasoning. The house sauce tasted like vinegar, and the stew was not any better.

My friend and I passed through Sparta and decided to try some authentic Georgia barbecue. According to Google, this restaurant had a 4.5 rating. The staff was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations. They claimed that the Brunswick stew was superior to the hash, but that turned out to be false. The vinegar-based barbecue lacked any smoky flavor or seasoning in the pulled pork. I regret not knowing better, as the high Google rating misled me. The sweet tea was decent, but overall, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food.

This family-owned and operated restaurant is both friendly and delicious. I wish they were open every day! The sandwiches are great, but the ribs are absolutely amazing!

I ordered takeout for lunch at this restaurant, and I was very impressed. The price per person was between $1-10, which was very reasonable. The food quality was a 5 out of 5, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was also fantastic. I will definitely be coming back!
