Attention everyone outside of Sussex County, NJ! Take a trip to Sparta and discover this charming little restaurant. You’ll appreciate the beautiful drive along the way, and once you arrive, you’ll be in for a delightful dining experience.

I had a delightful lunch featuring a salad topped with grilled chicken, along with a filet mignon sandwich accompanied by truffle fries. To top it off, I enjoyed a few handcrafted cocktails. It was quite a satisfying meal!

Food is the absolute best in New Jersey, and the ambiance alone makes this place 5 stars. Wait staff is always attentive and personable, food is top- notch, quality ingredients and impeccable presentation. Fire places lit in the winter with a cozy but classy cabin vibe, in the spring, summer, and fall there is a beautiful back patio, stone benches and fire pits in the back as well as a brick oven, I would pick Mohawk House over any other restaurant I?ve been to any day.
