Delicious and reasonable! We arrived on Tuesday to find baskets are only $5.99 on Tuesday! We had the catfish and cheese grits and hush puppies. This included 3 catfish filets fried crispy. We were so impressed we ordered the popcorn shrimp to go for another meal. All you can eat popcorn shrimp is $11.99 Tues thru Thurs. This may be our new Tuesday favorite! Service was great. Ashton took time to explain the specials... View all feedback.
What 동윤 안 doesn't like about David's Catfish House:
The food was good but I gave 3 stars because of the customer service. It was 8 minutes after I sat myself before anyone said one word to me. The lady who cleans the table stood in one spot watching me wait to be waited on. One waitress ran around asking the other waitresses who had my table. Everyone said not me or they didn 't know. I kinda hate leaving a bad review so long after my one and only visit to the Spanish Fort location. I've been to the David's Catfish location in Atmore several times, and I've always been pleased with the food and service there. The David's Catfish location in Spanish Fort however, was quite different, and definitely NOT in a good way.My wife and I went there shortly after it opened a few years ago. It was late afternoon, and the biggest part of the lunch rush was over. The catfish served to us had been refried, and was completely soaked in grease, and hard and overcooked near the tail end of the filets. It was sickening for the both of us! My wife didn't leave the building before vomiting in their restroom! I left the building nauseated but didn't vomit.I love a good catfish dinner, so, I've decided to give you another shot, after quite a long long time. The trouble is, I've heard from one of our friends that their visit was also NOT a pleasant one, and I'm not sure I can talk my wife into coming with me.It will have to be better this time, or I'll send it back.
Absolutely loved the catfish so fresh and the turnip greens was the best ever . A must stop by and eat in Spanish Fort Al . All you can eat or just order take out you will not be disappointed. Our server Lisa was awesome so friendly. Highly recommend David’s Catfish!Food: 5/5
Shoutout to the young lady who took care of the Stewart family today. If you like fried seafood this is your happy place. ?Kid-friendliness: Our little niece who is three loved the popcorn shrimp, took the rest home.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room, restaurant is one level double door to enter in. Tables are spread out enough to comfortably have a wheelchair.
Very good food, good service. Will be definitely going back if we get a chance. Could also taste the freshness of the shrimp, okra tasted good.Food: 5/5
