For Baldwin County, this place is decently good if you're itching for Mexican. I wasn't a big fan of the beef (a bit bland)but the family said the chicken was really good. Maybe worth a try if you're close. View all feedback.
What Heather Michelle doesn't like about Cafe Del Rio:
The food wasn't the worst we've had, but it was far from the greatest. The service was pretty good; our server, Lindsay was sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was mediocre. There weren't too many other diners when we went, but the atmosphere seemed kinda stiff. View all feedback.

When my friend and I got there at 11;30 it appeared that the restaurant was closed. We were seated but did not see any other patrons in the dining room. Service was slow and the food came out cold. While we were there only 8 other people came in to be served. No wonder that during lunch hour (11:30-12:15) there were only 7 cars in the parking lot.
First time here and it certainly won't be the last. Peach margarita was the best I have ever had. Chips and salsa were supper fresh and seasoned just right. Tamales were authentic and the shrimp brouchette was awesome. Server Karen was supper friendly and everyone who worked there were friendly and helpful. It's an older building but was clean . Thanks for a great start to our anniversary week. Richie and Sue
If I could give a negative 0, I would. We got there about 11:30 a.m. Right off the bat I asked if they have coke or Pepsi products and was told coke but they were out. The chips they brought us looked like crumbs that were left over from other customers. So then my wife and son wanted tamales and they were out. My mom and I only wanted cheesecake for our lunch and they only had one piece left, we got it and it was so old it was curdled and the one bite we did take almost made us sick. My son ordered the crawfish nachos and he only ate a few and it made him sick. My wife ordered chalupa and it was a flat chip with only cheese on it. The waiter we had was nice and kept apologizing but the waitress was very rude. Will not ever go back and strongly suggest just going to McDonald’s
