Reviews - Spangle Saloon
Reviews summary
In a cozy, rustic small‑town saloon, this locally owned spot delivers friendly, speedy service and a short, well‑executed menu of craveable comfort dishes—broasted chicken, the Palouse Burger, giant JoJo’s, crispy onion rings, shrimp basket and prime rib dip—plus craft beer and wine. Gluten‑free options and reasonable prices add to the appeal, making it a favorite for casual lunches, dinners and meetups. Staffing-driven reduced hours and occasional loud political conversation can affect the vibe.

Fantastic restaurant! I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was quite reasonable at $10–20. The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5, and the service was equally impressive, also a 5. The atmosphere was delightful, making it a perfect dining experience at 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Broasted Chicken with French Fries, Palouse Burger, Onion Rings, and Prime Rib Dip.

We have always liked stopping in this quaint little saloon and have visited many times over the years and through many owners. It 's always been a friendly place with outgoing, welcoming servers and good food. It has been an excellent place to stop in and relax with a meal, a drink or a beer. They have good craft beer on tap a decent wine and excellent food. One thing changed recently; they have a problem getting servers so they are only open after 4PM, which is disappointing (not only to customers, but I 'm sure to the owners too!)EDIT: After reading the owners reply, I will change my review...there is a possibility that someone in the saloon changed the channel to Fox, because I know the owners were not there on those days.Thank you for your answer....It 's nice to know that you want everyone to feel welcome. I understand that nothing can be done about the loud political discourse (it 's not like we can shush them ...LOL)I guess that will be a 'one beer day
The fried chicken is delicious! Update: the steak bites, wings, jojos, and chef salads are all very tasty. I will definitely eat here again. Food rating: 5/5!
Dang their broasted chicken is amazing! Fun place to meet up with friends for beer and bar food. The JoJo's were huge and cooked to perfection. The onion rings were huge and crispy. I'm going to be craving that chicken from now on!
Super disappointed in their chicken, got the 12 piece, skimpy of the fries and chicken was so greasy threw most of it out
This charming rustic spot in the small town did not disappoint! We were welcomed with smiles, the service was friendly and quick, and the food was fantastic. They even had some gluten-free options, which meant I could enjoy a burger. I highly recommend the Palouse Burger—it was absolutely delicious!
