Chili's - Spackenkill
Chili's
Description
Vibrant and family-friendly, this casual chain serves a broad menu with attentive service, speedy plating, and a stocked bar. Highlights include Cajun chicken pasta, tender baby back ribs, burgers and hearty soups; kids’ meals are solid and restrooms and accessibility are well maintained. However, kitchen consistency is uneven—some dishes arrive cold, fries suffer texture issues, and occasional items may be missing or overcooked. Overall a welcoming, affordable spot for groups and casual dinners when atmosphere and service matter.

I have to say that the Cajun Chicken Pasta was absolutely perfect. You can tell the chef really cared about the dish—it wasn't just thrown together. The servers made sure my order was packed properly so there were no leaks. The kids' meals were fantastic as well. The Pepper Pals Cheeseburger Bites were freshly cooked, and the Pepper Pals Cheese Quesadilla was served hot. I'm almost at a loss for words because Applebee's and TGI Fridays don't take care of my food like Chili's just did!
The chicken was cold and had a rubbery texture, the fries were oddly both soggy and dry at the same time, and the mac and cheese was the only decent part of the meal, though it was also cold.
Big Mouth Bites we're so over cooked and burnt they were not edible. The buns were delicious. 2 items were not delivered, the side of fries and the corn on the cob.
The atmosphere was delightful, and the food was outstanding. This is definitely a must-visit spot. The staff was prompt, friendly, and courteous. They maintained a clean and pleasant environment, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance that felt just right. Our waitress was attentive and very polite. I will definitely be returning. The prices are reasonable and reflect the quality of the food.
