The New Hobbit - Sowerby Bridge

Although we arrived early for dinner with our dog, we were told we couldn't sit in the restaurant due to the dog, which was somewhat frustrating. Instead, we had to sit at the high tables in the bar area. On the positive side, the carvery was excellent. We had a good night's sleep, although the room was quite warm initially. The shower was easy to use and had great water pressure, but I would suggest placing the soap in a more accessible spot. We woke up early, and the gentleman who prepared our breakfast was friendly and did a fantastic job. Overall, this place has a great atmosphere and wonderful dining options, and I would definitely recommend it.

I dined here with my wife on Friday night (July 14, 2017), and we enjoyed a lovely meal. The food was delightful, though our only complaint would be that there wasn’t quite enough sauce on the sticky toffee pudding! It was also a lovely touch to have a pianist playing while we ate. Too often, restaurants have a piano as a mere decoration, but she played a great selection of music that appealed to both the young and the young at heart. Many thanks to the pianist for contributing to a very pleasant evening.

This is our second visit to this restaurant, and the food is truly delicious. The warm atmosphere is lovely as well. I had an amazing dessert with popcorn and toffee sauce—wow!

I was just at my daughters high time on the new hobby and can recommend this to everyone. the workers are all helpful and will do everything to take place that was fantastic. I don't think they chose a better place. especially thanks to the maps of the high-time coordinator they are fantastic x

We had a family Sunday lunch yesterday, the food was lovely and the staff were even lovelier. Great place to eat.
