1st time here last week. My wife ordered Eggplant Parmigiana and was served enough for two meals. A side of Ziti also came with the meal Salad. (boxed up the remainder for another day). I ordered the Seafood Combination. (from the menu) came with Escarole Soup and 2 good sized Italian Meatballs; the main dish had 4 scallops, two baked stuffed shrimp, half a lobster tail and scrod. Excellent price. A side of Ziti also came with the meal.

Went there with a large group of 10+ in May of '22. Ordered the lasagna, was quite salty and over done. My wife got pizza and that was at least edible. Wait staff did not look happy to be there. Our waitress did not even offer to split the check at the end of the meal. She literally threw the check down on the table and disappeared into the back room. Would not go there again. This is the second time I've ordered for Roma in the past year it's been 6 months only because the last time it was so bad and I figured I'd give it another chance. I don't know if it's the person taking the phone orders or the kitchen but they shouldn't even work at a McDonald's nothing was right with either of my orders It's a shame they've been in business for so long and they used to be the best restaurant around I don't know what happened
The pizza is good. The service especially the young woman who answers the phone is godawful. She answers in a barely audible voice, full of apathy, and makes the least effort possible in answering questions or helping the customer. I ordered $80 worth of catered food to be delivered, and I tipped the driver in advance but got the time wrong. I called right after I placed the order to ask if they could deliver at the proper time... nope, sorry we won 't have any drivers available then (at 5pm on a Saturday) so I had to drive myself there and pick the food up. And naturally, they kept the tip. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other dozen pizza places between Southwick, Westfield, and Agawam. Don 't support crappy customer service.
Absolutely worst experience at a restaurant, avoid at all costs. I 've been a patron for over 20 years but haven 't been since pre-pandemic. I don 't know what happened or why, but I can tell you they have stopped caring about their customers ' experience. Went on Sunday at 1:00, party of 5....short staffed place was completely empty when we arrived. Hostess Jenna was the only good thing going for the place, she was sweet helpful and apologetic, as well as our waitress. But the actual waitress was absent, short, rude, and argumentative. Everything from where we were seated, the wait, mistakes in our order, it all happened. Appetizers and salads came out at the same time, 10 minutes later we just started eating salads and they crowded our table with our entrées which were already going cold. I asked for Parmesan for my spaghetti meatballs and was given the worst smelling Romano that everyone knows it 's a cheap knock off and I just couldn 't stomach it. I politely asked if they could cook me more spaghetti and sauce to take home I would keep my meatballs. The experience was already horrible up to that point and my entree was ruined but considering we were all dressed up with a Bible student trying to set a good example we were being as polite as we could. The waitress came out and was very argumentative finally agreeing to give me a side order of pasta instead of my full portion back. With so many other dining establishments to choose from avoid this place at all costs. I will never return!
This restaurant serves moderately okay Italian based food, but tonight's meal experience was terrible. We have eaten here in the past but this was a new low. We ordered a Yeungling draft beer after they told us they were out of Sam Adams (featured on their menu, less than 90 miles from Boston). The Yeungling was both warm and it was flat not a good start. Roma was not at all busy but it took the waitress over 10 minutes to show up once we were seated (the hostess seated us immediately, another 10 minutes to deliver drinks (with the warm, flat beer) and she (not requested) delivered 2 waters for the 4 of us very random since nobody asked for water and it wasn't for everyone in the party. The salads all had water in the salad dishes due to the washed lettuce that was not drained (a full tablespoon of water on the plate of every salad). The The scallops were just okay, but was served with a side of nearly cold side of ziti with a very bland, two tablespoon serving of marinara sauce. We asked for parmigiana cheese which never showed up. The twin lobsters were well prepared and they honored a dietary restriction for one of our guests. Finally, they seemed to lose our credit card after taking it. It showed up after about 10 minutes, but involved three people congregating around the front desk, discussing if we had paid with us knowing that the card had not yet been charged (we get text alerts when any charge on the card goes through) it was charged a few minutes later after our waitress hurried to the back after the meeting discussing that at the front desk. Bottom line is that I am so completely underwhelmed by Roma that I will never return. I'll happily pay more for lobster or good Italian food elsewhere to get even mediocre service. Roma, you failed completely on this. Two stars only because of the food we did receive was okay even with the terrible service experience. Drinks and service were terrible.
